Tamim targets hindering Libya’s reconstruction with an intent to help the Muslim Brotherhood takeover decision making in Libya.
He backed Salah Badi, head of Lowaa Al Sumod militia in Misrata, and supplied him with weapons to hinder cleansing Tripoli of armed groups. Doha then ordered him to direct his forces to the capital to protect Ikhwan’s interests.
Residents condemned his movements and reminded him of his past crimes. Badi had destroyed Tripoli’s airport and its oil reserves during the Libya Dawn operation.
He pushed hundreds of youths to their death serving Doha’s goals.
Security Council aborted Qatar’s scheme to hinder the political process in Libya and approved US-British-French suggestion to impose sanctions on Badi in the form of a travel ban and freezing of bank accounts.
